They say ignorance is bliss
I guess some never got the memo
people are pissed off at this, and that
him and her, he and she
My own grandfather believes that god hates fags
women deserve rags
and that the brown all wear them
He was a product of a different era, ignorant of now
yet still so angry, stressed, and borderline riddled with hate
this is a man I still love, he raised my father well, who in return raised me
It pains me to see, that the ignorance of a nation
will destroy the happiness, and well being of that it encompasses
I wish ignorance was bliss, yet this doesn't seem to be true anymore
for we live in a world of ignorant hate
